*A person Rejected from his family(Genesis 37:4) becomes the

 CEO of Egypt (genesis 41:41)* 

Scripture : Genesis 39-41 

Upliftment , career growth and to become a big shot is all we want in our life . This is usual because we are humans so we have desires . Bible doesn’t says Joesph had a desire to become a CEO of Egypt but still god put him in that position . God will do things for you like he did for Jospeh but your first priority should be God in everything, not the positions you desire ! 

The real theme: 

          If you are true in very small things which God gives you then he will make you big over many things . (He will give you many big things or make you ruler over big things ) 

#truthfullness_matter (genesis 39:6) 

1. Jospeh is the last son of Jacob who is 12th in the list . Though Jacob loved him a lot, his 10 brothers (except Reuben) showed anger towards him . They don’t even like speaking to him (Genesis 37:4) . So his brothers sold him as a slave to a merchant man who brought him to Egypt . Joseph became the servant of potiphar,the captain of guard . That was his first job .

2. When a plant is trying to grow there will be some thorns which will not let it grow . As the same Joseph had a problem with porthibar’s wife , she is the wife of the Joseph’s boss . She called Joseph to sleep with her but he refused , even though nobody would know about this. He was truthful and committed to the job that his boss has given him [Genesis 39:6-8]. 

3. Jospeh was put in jail as portiphar’s wife deceived portiphar about Jospeh . Even in jail he became the incharge over all those held in the prison. Like porthipar gave everything under Jospeh's control in the first, the warden leaves everything under his control (Genesis 39:23). 

4. Fool people (opposite to wise) who are under God's care are wiser than the wise of this world . Wise people in Egypt cannot interpret the dream of the king but Jospeh did and he also gave solution to the problems that Egypt was gonna face in the future (famine) . 

5. King saw that Joseph was wise and the way he approached the problem . He didn’t waste time finding someone to be put incharge of. So he put Joseph as CEO of Egypt . Genesis (41:41). 

The conclusion ....... 

   Jospeh started his career just as a slave and servant . But later he become a CEO . 

The reason is

  

1. He gave first priority to God so God was with him in everything he did . 

2. Commitment to be truthful even in small things . 

      Can you imagine a King giving control of his country to a slave who is in jail . But this will happen if the creator of this universe is with you .
